Travel Resource was formed in 1999 when the opportunity to purchase Royal Palm Travel was presented to 3 of its consultants. Starting with a single office with a staff of 8, Travel Resource has expanded to over 50 travel consultants throughout the US.

Our ties to the community go back over 40 years and from a single office on Sunset Avenue in Palm Beach, Travel Resource has acquired 5 additional agencies. Merged into Royal Palm Travel are Royal Poinciana Travel and Air and Sea Travel under the management of Karen A Tucker, CTC.

Jean Rose Travel, Cooks Travel and most recently Custom World Travel operate from our Jupiter office, headed by Joyce M. Fath.

In addition we have an affiliate office – Master Travel and Cruises in the Wellington area.

Travel Resource, a member of Virtuoso, is recognized as one of the top national producers by it's travel partners. We have the honor of holding a seat on the advisory boards for numerous hotel, cruise and tour companies as well as being recognized as a preferred supplier for Cunard Line, Crystal Cruises, Radisson Seven Seas, Silversea and Seabourn. Leslie A. Shaw, CTA, the managing principal of Travel Resource, has responsibility for the day to day operation of the corporation. He was elected to the Member Advisory Board for Virtuoso in 2002.

Our consultants are all accredited and many are hold certification as Travel Associate (CTA) and Travel Consultant (CTC) from The Travel Institute.
